I would think about it, but I just couldn't take it. That goes against my upbringing.
I remember my dad arguing with a cashier because she gave him too much change, it turns out that he was right and she took back the extra.
I've done the same thing, I even went back to Kmart (not a favorite store of mine) and made them double check my receipt. They undercharged me about $10.
I don't have riches, but I do have my integrity. I have to look myself in the face when I look in the mirror, and I want to see an honest man.

i am usually a good person who is willing to take the $ if i knew for sure that the real owner of the $ can't be found easily... for ex. I would never took the $ if i know the real owner and how to reach him/her... I think being bad or good is a relative issue..
it can be really different from one person to another according to your culture and believes.. don't you think?

Our human nature is to take the money, that dose not make us evil, but I think it might make a differece where the money is.. laying on the street, sure anyone would take it.. laying on someones table in thier house.. No I would not take it..
but if I did, it would not make me EVIL, just a thief!

I have been in that situation, except it was just $180 sitting on top of a pay phone. I turned it in like an idiot, and got nothing in return. From that day I learned finders keepers. I miss that money so much.

If the $100 is on the ground and no practial chance of finding the real owner, they yes, I would take it happily.

If it is in someones wallet / bag / purse than absolutely not.

I am happy to be amoral, but try not to be immoral :)

Of course I am going to take it. If I don't take it, the next person will.

Depends does it belong to someone or is just laying there with nobody to claim it? If it belonged to someone no I wouldnt pick it no matter if someone saw or not. If it didnt belong to someone I'd fight ya for it no matter who saw!
