My heart has been divided
This term please understand.
My husband has a fraction,
One third is in his hand.

With the addition of my son,
My love grew even more.
My heart grew larger,
Two thirds now accounted for.

I bore another son,
Now my love is times three.
The equation seems to work,
My heart's division completes me.

I have calculated my life,
The solution is very clear.
The happiness I feel daily,
Is the love of a family I hold dear.

Love is the joy added
Loneliness subtracted
