Paris Hilton is making a good effort too. I don't like her voice that much, but I really repect her efforts to become a pop star.

I know this won't win me any points, but here goes anyway......

I vote none. There are plenty of talented young women with strong voices out there, but your question was directed at the younger generation and the honest truth is that these women are marketed for men to buy their CDs. Their over sexuality alienates them from their younger (and impressionable) fans, through both their lyrics, their clothes and their videos.

And, to be fair, most of them acknowledge that they are marketing for a more mature audience, not as role models for kids.

Shakira, Mariah, Beyonce, Nellie Furtado, Christina....truly talented, but not recommended for "a younger youth audience".
