It doesn't matter for me. It's her right.

I met my birth mother about 10 years ago. We were getting on great and she invited me down to her place to stay the weekend to spend some time with her, her husband and their 3 children, my 2 half brothers and my half sister. Everything was going well until she asked me if I wanted to know who my father was, after some thought I said yes, I'd like to know his name. At that point she shut down, my husband and I were leaving and she said she'd talk to me about it the next week on the phone.
She never told me who he is and I have not seen her since she just cut off all communication with me, stopped returning calls and didn't respond to any letters
It hurts.... but there is nothing I can do, it's her loss......

I'd be sad. but then I'd make up my mind by thinking that at least i have great parents who love me and my birth mother had actually done me a favour by giving me up.

If I found out I was adopted....I wouldn't care about my birth mother because I LOVE my moms (supposing she was my adopted mom) to pieces....wouldn't trade her for any other!!!

i don't think i would be sad because i never grew up with her, never made a connection as her being my mom, so i don't think it would really affect me that much. i would just walk away saying, "Ok."
