he probably had a bad rash, and it started to blister. if he sleeps through the night, and his diapers are soaked when he wakes you, it could be because he is in them all night. change him at least once a night while he is asleep, and once cleared up and off the prescription, use a cornstarch baby powder on his bottom when he goes to bed to help keep his bottom dry. my daughter used to get bad rashes from her formula when she was about 2 weeks old. it was because her stools were runny, and she was lactose intolerant, so she went 5 times between bottles..the doctor said not to switch her formula before he saw able to see her (2 weeks later) because it could have been something different, but I changed her anyway (mother's instinct) and her stools became normal and her rashes cleared up

make sure to keep him dry, and maybe change the brand of diaper you use, as some babies are allergic to certain brands

your boy's butt should be having infection due to wearing pampers. Ask doctor if you want to know what is furaderm, or else check thru yahoo search.

I am father of 19months old baby girl. Take good care of your boy, but let him search (within your guidance) for this new world. you will find the greatness taste of being parent.

Yeah that sounds like an allergic reaction to whatever brand of diapers he was in. Most likely Pampers as that tends to be the one that causes allergic reactions like that. Try Huggies instead. Lower rates of allergic reactions.
