how do i unjam my printer?

HELP! my printer is jammed 3 sheets of paper are stuck

Open the paper tray and check there. Then open any access panels and caefully remove any paper. Remember if you only removed 3/4 of a sheet then 1/4 is still stuck in there! Also check to see if the printer is telling you where to look. What kind of printer do you have?
