I am 22 years old, i dont play sports i have lately attended a Yoga class and i noticed that 90% of the attendees were much more flexible than i am. is it too late to become a bit flexible at the age of 22 or is there hope? do i have to play sports or will stretching and yoga do the trick?

It's never never never too late. Sure, the younger you start the better, longer lasting results you'll have.

But believe me, 22 is not too old. I didn't start until my 30's. While I'm hardly a contortionist, I have quite adequate flexibility.

Since it sounds as if your goal is just to be flexible, not to have a career in some type of sports field, yoga alone should be fine for you.

And don't worry about the super-stretchy people in your class. They've been doing it for a while. It takes time to get to that level.

sports has nothing to do with flexibility. and yes stretching and yoga will do the trick, but the best thing is if your genes are on your side. Yoga and stretching are much more enjoyable if you've got natural flexibility.
