I recently bought a quite cheap Lexmark printer from Argos. It works fine. Idiscovered that to buy 2 or 3 cartridges is almost the cost of the printer,so I took to re-filling them with a kit from Tescos and as of yet havent had the slightest bit of trouble. When it does breakdown Ill dump it , As you probably know cartridges are a rip off. For general home use everythings OK

Steer clear of re-furbished Lexmark cartridges. I've tried 4 from Cartridge World. All of them were rubbish.

Partners sometimes have a 3 for 2 on them, thats by far the cheapest when the offer is on. I don't seen discounts on them anywhere, other than a few pence difference.

Sorry, dont mean to be mean but your spelling error is quite amusing...it's cartRidges not cartLidges.

To answer the question, don't go for recycled ones - they are notorious at damaging printers (I work for a computer supplies firm). Compatible ones are ok and definitely go online - google the cartridge you need and the world and its mother is selling them.
