I cant say everything will be fine and dandy cause it wont.. The birth part wasnt so bad, pushing it out is just very tiring, if you get the epidural you wont feel it the pain but you'll feel alot of pressure..
The contractions were the WORST thing ever, it wasnt to long either as soon as I got my epidural everything was just beautiful lol.. I was in complete heaven :) But after that angel comes out and they wrap him/her up and hand him/her to you, you totally forget about any pain or suffering you went through all you wanna do is look at that little thing you created ! wow that sounded totally korny ! lol... Hope you decide to have a baby cause although its the most painful experience you'll have its also the greatest ! You won't regret it trust me !

the pains usually are very subtle at first. You don't even realize your in labor. Feels like back pain only comes in waves. Unless of course your water breaks, then the pain is more pronounce. My first pregnancy, my water broke and I had to call my husband to come home from work to take me to the hospital. I remember just being very VERY irritable with him and then calming down and then getting irate again and calm again until I realized the reason I was getting irritable in cycles which of course was labor pains coming in waves. If your doctor is careful, your vagina does not have to tear, he can perform an episiotomy. Don't be afraid to experience the most amazing event of your life.

I was 16 when I had my first and it hurt like hell but all that pain will go away when you see your baby for the first time i promise

To me it felt a lot like menstrual cramps that just got stronger and stronger. I didn't really feel stretching when he was coming out just some bad cramps. But I forgot all about it when i heard him cry.

If you ask me i really dont no, but it really tears your freeking vagina. So have a test tube and grow your child in it
