Garner people's trust by carrying out orders timely and well...Look determined and speak intelligently, listen to people's concerns and offer your own opinions when asked. Work hard, develop skills, etc. etc. Become a role model, don't allow others to drag you down...stay strong and you will influence others...

A person will be more inclined to agree/sympathise with you if you mimic their actions in a subtle way (scratch nose when they do, have same sitting position etc., and make simple physical contact while maintaining eye contact. It is scientifically proven that placing a hand on thepersons arm while talking can increase the likelihood of someone believing a false statement, agreeing with advise, or following an instruction.

Celebrities do influence the people. Politicians do. Priests and Nuns also. But how can they do it? Basically, its thier natural charisma towards people.

religion uses fear. i use competition/pride but the easiest it material gain.
