sure. just because you have a degree doesn't make you immune to the things that might put a person out on the street, internal or external.
you know how much a bachelors in philosophy, psychology, history, or french, etc. is worth? not much.

Education is a tool to help you use the intelligence you have. Not a guarantee of success. Many of this countries Millionaires are dropouts. Education does little for a person with no common sense and is too lazy to apply the education given. Also many of todays colleges teach personal ideology more than anything.

Sure I do - college educated, tea-totalers to start off with, good parents, hard-workers, good sons/daughters, victims of domestic abuse, etc. etc.
It is quite easy for people to get thrown into the bottomless pit of homelessness just out of economic reasons and/or the failure of people in the court system to do their jobs correctly.

Well of course... In every class there are those who must be at the bottom... and even those who are on top are not necessarily knowledgeable about real life. College teaches you nothing about living in the real world. To bad more parents didn't take the time to tell their kids about it!
BUT as adults we all get to make choices... so THEY CHOOSE to live there... their problem !!

A text book education hardly prepares you for the real world and certainly doesn't make those with bad money management any wiser.
