can anyone tell me where sonam and kimi katkar have dissapeared? they were gorgeous? there is no sign of them r they lost in transaction?pls tell me

sonam is married to rajiv rai - director producer of trimurti and settle down at london if i am not mistaken they have almost 14 years old son also.
kimi katkar is married to famous photographer shantanu shori and settle down at mubai only. i dont have any information about her kids

Sonam is in London, Kimi is still in Bombay and both of them are retired from film after marrying people related to the filmdom. But what I don't understand is the part where they were lost in "transaction"! What kind of transaction was that anyways?? :)

Sonam (born 1972) entered India's Hindi film industry Bollywood after being launched by Yash Chopra in the 1988 film Vijay opposite Rishi Kapoor. She shot into fame in the 1989 film Tridev. She was known for the song Tirchi Topi Wale in the film which was very popular at the time. She is the niece of character actor Raza Murad.
She was named by her parents as "Bakhtawar" which is used in Punjabi names for a lucky boy. She renamed herself Sonam to have a milder sounding name to suit the Indian film industry. Interestingly the name Sonam is of Tibetan origin and means "The fortunate one" and unfortunately for Bakhtawar is again used for a male child in Tibet.
She made several other films until 1994 when she married Bollywood film director Rajiv Rai who had directed her in Tridev and Vishwatma. She had to leave India with Rajiv Rai in the late 1990s after an attempt was made on his life by the Mumbai Underworld. She is now settled with her husband in the UK and has not made any new films since 1994 although Rajiv still continues to direct Bollywood films occasionally.

Kimi Katkar was a popular Indian actress from the eighties. She gained fame for her role in the "B" grade thriller Tarzan (Hindi film) where her skimpy outfits brought her fame. Her biggest success was starring in Hum (film) with the legendary Amitabh Bachchan. She retired from the industry shortly after her marriage to Shantanu Sheorey, leading commercial photographer and advertising film producer.

kimi katkar and sonam was the heroines of so many Govinda films, at the time of starting of Govinda's career. After so many flop movies thay went out from Bollywood.
