Peru. you get there by train. If I remember well it takes 2-3 hours from Cuzco then you can walk to the site or take a coach. By feet it takes another 2 hours or so. By coach it is 30 minutes.

Machu Picchu is a good deal in-land from Lima and in the Southern portion of Peru

There are no Egyptian pyramids at Machu Picchu, only Peruvian pyramids.
It's not far from Cuzco.

there are no known connections at the present time of Egyptian and Peruvian pyramids. did a paper in Anthropology class comparing and contrasting them.
