They should estimate your due date by your last cycle. Are you sure they didn't misunderstand you? I wouldn't worry about it, at your ultrasounds they will measure the baby size/ weeks with the machine. Also some doctors count your actual weeks pregnant. Meaning when we realized we are late they say we are 4 weeks pregnant when really we are only 2. She could be counting on that system instead of the common pregnancy calendar. The due date is only off by 10 days so this could be what she was doing.

I would check to be sure they got the due date right, or maybe get another doctor if your worried about it.

BUT all babies come with they get ready, not by our estimated due dates.

you will need to have 2 or 3 ultrasounds throughout your pregnancy. The first one of these can be at 8 weeks. This ultrasound is the most accurate at giving a due date because all babies grow the same amount up to 8 weeks, then they grow at different rates after that.BUT... in saying that, my date was the 10th by my period, the 17th by ultrasound and he arrived on the 22nd- either 5 or 12 days late, and that's because i was induced.
Did you get your period every 28 days or was your cycle longer? I sometimes went on a 32 day cycle and once, my periods were 40 days apart. This will alter when you are ovulating and can mess up dates too.
Main thing is not to stress, take the 17th june as due date and if comes and passes with no movement, then take the 10th july as your date. Just have your bag ready early and a plan to get to hospital no matter when it happens. If this is your first and you are fairly young, there is a big chance it will be late. Just be happy and relax, it will happen before you know it!

mine was worked out as 41 weeks from date of last period, or 9 months and one week. so my period was 12/6, due date was 19/3. hope that helps, and remember that only 5% come on the due date so you never know! good luck!

properly, the due date truly relies upon on the baby's measurements and how briskly your infant develops. i recognize that when I had my little lady, they were 2 weeks off. I held her in for 40 2 weeks!!! She also got here out with a large head!! they could have made a mistake, yet because your 0.33 ultrasound your infant received't have grown as quickly because the first 3 ultrasounds. i might want to easily take the most suitable date they gave you and believe that one! Or, refer on your midwife and spot what they might want to assert about it!!! sturdy success and congratulations!!!

well by the first doctors due date, I gave birth to my daughter two weeks early.
By my period due date I gave birth to her on time
By second doctors due date (yeah i really wanted that second opinion!) I had her two weeks overdue and this calculated by the ultrasounds and what not.

You will know your due when you have your baby. Dr.s due date should be used as an ETA not a set down he/she will be here on this date.

Don't worry baby will comw when it is ready. They changed my due date at least 7 times with my son, almost every blood test or ultrasound brought a new date, and he was not born on a single one of the dates.

See another OBGYN who is more qualified and reliable. I was pregnant twice and now I am, and my OBGYN (3 people) could give me the due date without any doubt.

pregnancy dates are estimated of course.. its not a definite date. conception may have been very late.. the due date your doctor gave is also early.. trust me it changes as you go alone and then it becums nealry certain..
