because you are not livng the way you want to. lonliness comes from not having the people you want around you and not participating in activities you love. if you love england...... go back there. it is your life so you better make it good for you not everybody else.

This is natural thing to happen. When ever we change a place we do miss it for sometime. Soon you will start liking South Africa.......it is just temporary problem. After few years you will not want to go back to England. You just have to wait and give yourself some time. 4 years you were in England.......wait more 4 years and see how your opinion will change. Any Place where you are with your family is the best place/

I was like this when I went home to my native country of England from Australia this year. It's because your heart is in England. It doesn't matter who is around you or what you are doing, if your heart is in a different place, it doesnt matter. I truly believe in the saying 'Home is where the Heart is'. The only cure is to go back or if not possible, to try and 'detach' your heart from England. My heart is in Australia - i'm now back and am truly happy and content, I wish you the same. Good Luck : )

I totally understand. With my mom's side of the family, I feel happy and loved, but with my dad's side of the family, I tend to feel left out. It's the same when I'm out in big groups. I think for you, a big part of it is because your family members weren't there during your experiences in England. It's like you went on an epic adventure and they stayed home. A lot of things you did and saw that are important memories and experiences for you, they aren't included in. So maybe it feels like, "how can they really know me?" Also, for me, I have the problem that I feel ignored. I feel like I have plenty of input, or like I'm a really interesting person, but it often feels like other people just don't care.

Perhaps it's a problem of separating different parts of our lives. Sorry I don't have any great advice, but I completely understand. Hope this helps a bit.

there is a feeling you can be the loneliest person in a crowded room. that feeling is the worst feeling in the world. you just arent content with yourself, go back to where you are happy. you cant live your life for your family because when they are gone whose going to make you happy and live for you? if your family loves you they will understand and let you be happy. life is too short to live unhappy.

You can only find true happiness within yourself through a relationship with God. If you are feeling alone then you must not have God in your life. Don't depend on people to fullfill your life and don't sit around waiting for it to happen. Search for your own peace within your own heart.
