need to know how to add programs on to my computer?

Want to add three games onto the computer. Got in the mail. they are computer games my dad had installed on his computer but cant figure out how to install them on my computer

Must not be running windows xp...auto install... Try inserting the CD and going to the "my computer" then the "cd" and look for an install file and/or auto run file... good luck

It sounds like he simply copied the directory/directories with all the associated files for the games. If there's an .exe file but no "setup" or "install" file, that might be what he did. If that's the case, you'd just copy the entire disk to the hard drive. If there is an installation file, you can navigate to the CD drive and run it.

if the install doesnt start when you put in the disc, then open My Computer, locate the drive which has the game device, and look for a file called "SETUP" or "INSTALL"

Double click on it and youre good to go

If your CD-Rom doesn't have an autorun feature, you could always try the manual route:

Go to [My Computer] -> Then click on whichever drive your CD-Rom is on. Most likely D.

Look for an icon called "Setup.exe". That should begin the installation process.

just copy the directory to the windows directory and make and place shortcuts in the programs folder that will work . i feel they are al small games have no setup files for installation.
just double clicking the icons will run the game.

first>> be sure that your vga card able to(((can be))) config your games...

second>>if your kind games is autorun you willnot need to install it,,it will run automatically.

third>> if your kind games need to install.you will install it and you will run it after that.
