I have been looking online for a Nintendo DS for my son, and all that keeps coming up is Nintendo DS Lite. Is the DS Lite different than the DS?

Jacob...except that my son can't use either either of those consoles with much ease in my car, that's a fabulous idea!

no difference it does all the same things but a sleeker version thats all

The original ds is quite different in design but the same in functionality. Personally if your kid is reckless and throws his stuff around then get the orginal ds...it's built like a rock. The ds lite is something you would have to take care of and it's much easily to come by since the orginal ds is harder to find in stores now. But definitely get the Lite if he can take of it!

A DS Lite is the updated version of the DS... It is smaller and lighter but otherwise pretty much the same.

the ds lite is an updated version of the ds with several changes made, most of them cosmetic, the games are the same, the control system is the same, it just looks different.
they are available in a range of colours, the best price on ebay is apx 82 pounds. on amazon its 99 pounds.

There is really no difference just a bit lighter and slimmer... Argos and Woolworths sell the normal Nintendo DS...

First off the DS Rules i have a lite and its awsome. the Ps3 is just some gay ps2 with new graphics and blu-ray. the Wii rules

the ds lite is way better because there super bright faster and way smaller and they have thicker pens so if you lose one there easy to find.

nintendo ds is gay dont waste ur money go for the wii or the ps3
