he's probably at least in his late forties? he should probably try to shut it down if it gets annoying. he's old enough to have figured out how to deal with you making a fool of yourself around him.

In my opinion, teasing is cruel and a very hard form of punishment. Of course teasing is a weapon of choice for women, but it can turn a man into a vicious violent creature...
So any teasing, especially when there's no chance in hell to "get anything" out of it, is particularly unappreciated... At least in my point of view.
So I would have to say it's wrong to tease your BF's dad... I hope he's realising you are not doing it to get him arroused or anything, because if he thinks it could ever lead to anything....
If I was him (your BF's dad) I would try to ignore you... Or try to make porn films with you!

Absolutely not! teasing if done not suggestively has no bad effect. I'll take it as gesture of your hospitality and being warm. If it turns you on, you have the problem. So control it. Next time around, be nice!
