No, I don't think it's outdated. I do believe that maybe it's a little too easy for people to get out of it--maybe that's why there's so much divorce...people think, "well, if it doesn't go just as I planned it, then I'll just get a divorce." How sad is that?! Anything worthwhile takes work. And not everything can go your way, every time.

No but then I love being married!

I have friends who are not married and their relationships are wonderful too. But are now considering making things legal as were reaching middle age. If as a women I've learn one thing... not to play house, legally it can get to be messy. Kids deserve a stable two parent household where ever possible. They don't need to be caught in legal limbo.

No- legally it is great. Say your partner is hurt & in the hospitol ICU- if you are not married- you can't go into see them. If they want to " pull the plug" on your partner- unmarried you have no say in the decision. Just get the rings- set a date & get married, happy trails to you & yours, good luck!

Hi! No, I've been married 23 years and it's calming, fulfilling, fun, exciting and not boring. I'd rather be married any day than be single. I guess it's what you make of it. See ya!
