My daughter is striking out on her own...first apartment...I am looking for a comprehensive list of "resposibilities" for her...example-get your car maintenance on a schedule...start your IRA...things I wish someone would have told me when I was young...I saw a list like this once....but I can't remember where.

First: Budget.
Second: Oil change, and tire rotation on time.
Third: Do not quit your old job until you have been hired for the new one.
Fourth: Go to college. Get a career.

Please tell her to budget her money and get a day planner or calender to keep track of her bill payments and appointments. so many kids don't even know how to budget a check book now a days !
