strangely we are born with about 300 bones but they fuse together as we grow, eventually we end up with 206 apx.

28 in the cranium
1 hyoid around the neck
26 vertebra (7 cervical, 12 thoracic, 5 lumbar, 1 sacrum that's 5 melted vertebra and 1 cocyx that's 4 melted vertebra)
26 sternum (24 ribs plus 2 sternum= 1 front + 1 rear)
4 in the shoulders (2 clavicles and 2 scapula)
1 pelvic belt ( 2 melted bones)
120 arms and legs ( 30 bones each of the 4 limbs)

When you are born you have over 300 bones. As you grow, some of these bones fuse together. The result? An adult has only 206 bones!
