Same situation with me....at my next appointment my doctor made me take 2 bags of IV fluids and they prescribed me Zofran. Its really expensive but it REALLY helps with vomiting. Its a anti-nausea medicine. Personally I would just wait to see your doc. and tell him you cant keep anything down.....
When your pregnant if you throw up more than 4 times a day you should call your doctor. You may need fluids. Tums help with heartburn.
I REaLLy hope you dont have my experience. This is how mine started and has only got worse from here. I'm 20 weeks now, and its still going stay.

Hi there;
For heartburn eat saltine crackers for a snack. For vomiting, eat smaller meals but not just 3 a day. Eat more often by splitting up your meals into 5 to 6 meals a day (just smaller portions). The hormones are what is causing your heartburn and nausea. Drink plenty of water and eat plenty of green leafy veggies (this also is an excellent heartburn cure too.)
Do not over do exercise. Do all things in moderation.
By all means tell your doctor what is going on. Weight loss is not good during pregnancy. For exercise - walk, stretch, meditate and get plenty of fresh air.
Ask your doctor for a diet that is fat free. Fat is hard to digest.
Your baby needs more than carbs so if you are going to drink a supplement drink something like Ensure which is designed with vitamins, is gluten free and will help you gain or maintain your weight.

I had that problem with my first and only child. Its from all the vomiting. I would suggest ask him about what there is that you can do to gain some weight, and if there is anything that is wrong other than having some severe morning sickness.
Also there is the anti vomiting medicine out there. Try that, that is what I had to eventually do, once I started taking that, I had no problems not loosing weight but actually gaining weight.

I gained approximately 35 with each and each of mine. They have been 6 lb, 6 lb 5 oz., and six lb 13 oz.. i do no longer think of the burden benefit has a extensive value. My sister gained 25 lbs and her infant exchange into 8 lb. the only time it concerns is that if a) you benefit too plenty and infant is risky b) you benefit too little and infant is risky merely attempt to consume healthful and workout and benefit a average quantity at a constantly slow p.c.., and your infant will weigh even though it particularly is suppoed to weigh.

Anyways there is no real way to put on wieght I dont belive. But i think you should stick to something that you wont bring up. Coz ther is less chances of 'losing' it agian. But maybe you should talk to your OB even if he will get mad its not coz of how sick you are you cant help that i think he is just worried bout your health.
