False. Scam. Delete. Block. Empty trash. Learn. How many lotteries notify winners via email? Did you buy a lottery ticket and give them your email address? It's one of the biggest scams going right now, and the scammers make money because people are greedy.

I'm supposed to ask the same question. Coz every time you answer one of their surveys, you'll get to pick numbers in freelotto. And they say that among the number combinations that i've pick. I won 1,000,000 dollar, 10,000 dollar and a 300 dollar from different number combination that i've pick among 6 kind of their freelotto. I've followed some of the steps upto the point that im supposed to send them the confirmation that i've won something. and i think after 2-3 weeks, I have receive a mail regarding the lotto telling me that i've won. The next step is the one i'm a little suspicious about... I'm suppose to reply the mail they've send me together with my picture and some id, passport and drivers licence number.... this time I don't know if I should go on with the steps in claiming....I did not spend a cent upto that point maybe only if reply to their mail, i'm going to spend 18 cents for the mail delivery. The question is if I send those picture, letter and personal information will i be able to receive the prizes I have won?

I receive several of these letters. The best thing to do is go to Google and type in the lotto winning name. You will know right away that all of these winnings are nothing but scam. They look for people who are greedy in nature and slowly fleece them out with money 500 USD for attorney 600USD for Whatever Like that. All are scams Sorry to disappoint but you asked??

If it sounds too good to be true, it is too good to be true.

If you respond to this communication, you'll be asked to either give some personal information that will be used to either steal from you directly or indirectly. Indirectly, it would be done by stealing your identity; that is, creating accounts under your name and charging a large number of items without ever paying for them. You would be sought out by creditors to pay for the items. You identy would be ruined.

Another approach would be to asked you to pay a number of adimistrative fees before receiving your lotto winnings. After paying the fees, you would not receive any lotto winnings. You'd just be out the money you paid--which might be a considerable sum.

It is almost certainly not true. Check statistics for winning, even for a ticket you buy, and they are almost nil. If you received this as a free advertising promo, then I would say that the chances of your winning are less than zero...Yes, I know that technically it is not possible for a chance to be less than zero, so let's just say your chances of really winning are very, very low. Still, I wish you the very best of luck!
