Lots of people use the term racist, especially African Americans. A true racist believes his "race" is superior. Do you think that time has mostly passed. Do you think we see patterns in culture and identify people with their cultural similarities rather than my race. (BTW there are three races, caucasian(eurpoean, middle eastern, latin american), mongloid(asian), *******(african).

I definitely identify with culture. I identify with people of different races than mine who have the same/similar culture as I, but I don't really identify much with people of completely different cultures, even if they're of the same race as I. It's definitely about culture rather than race in my case.

I think I tend to identify with those who've had similar experiences in life. I have friends who don't speak English well, but my had severe migraines. That made us have a wide base of common understanding. Culture and race aren't the only, or even the main way to identify self and self with others. I am an individualist and see the differences and similarities between each of us as one of the remarkable things about being alive.

I don't really identify all that much with either race or culture. I have friends from all cultures and races which I think keeps life more interesting.

And no, I don't think that racist times have passed. Yes, we have came a long way when it comes to civil rights, etc but we still have a long way to go.

Latin American is not someone that belongs to the "caucasian race". Some are caucasian, some are black, some are mongoloid, most of them are mixed. Latin American is not a race, is jut someone that was born in Latin America.

I identify with people who have similar beliefs/values as I do. Lately these people have not been of my Ethnic group. In the way we worship, for instance. In general, caucasians are pretty stoic about how they present themselves. Then again, not everyone fits the mold.
