Well I don't think I would be good at preaching but if I did then yes I would practice what you preached.

I would preach against the apathetic ways of our society. I would preach for getting to know your neighbors again. I would preach for frequenting your downtown merchants again. I would preach for community, and accountability, and responsibility. I would beg for a return to the days when children played on the street with other children....whose parents you knew. I would plead for a return of the days where the parents knew the teachers and the teachers knew the parents. I would demand a return to the day when parents spent more time with their children than the remote control!!
We are becoming a society of strangers. We don't know our neighbors, our children's friends, our children's teachers, or the people we interact with on a daily basis. We hide in our big SUVs and sing along with the radio and dream of vacations where we can escape to an even more remote location where we can mingle with people who are even more unfamiliar to us than those weird people across the street!!
This is how it is out where I live anyway....I miss small town life. The suburbs are getting weird, I tell you!!!

I would preach God's love and not preach hate, that's for sure. I already practice love. :)

I'd preach that being religious and/or spiritual is not just about loving your fellow human, it's about thinking for yourself. The idea of a deity teaching people that certain kinds of behaviour is "wrong" (for example, homosexuality) was brought around to control people and THAT is what's "wrong". I hope that makes sense.
I guess I'd open a church for people who dislike most churches!
