We all get these type of emails in our inbox. Once i recieved a email saying a rich oil giant is about to die and he wants to give me 100 mil if i send my name and 15 bucks to the website. i didn't do it of course but you can imagine what would happen if i did send it..... i have no gain (+100mil) and i would loose 15 bucks and send away my name for more people giving these scams into my inbox.
In this world there is not many people that wants to give away free money. Like the saying, everything has a proce except for the air we breath. Now you might be stumped at why they got your name! well, usually if you signed up to a untrustworty website and gave ur name and address (big mistake) they just pass it on and wait till u get scammed!
So next time be careful about your identity and beware theat such things are scams!

no man!! do not even think about it nobody gives money away if that was true i would be rich by now read this:
The U.S. Federal Trade Commission has this advice for consumers who are thinking about responding to a lottery or other potential scams:
If you are a US citizen and you play a lottery through the mail or by phone, you are violating federal law.
If you buy one lottery ticket, expect more bogus offers for lottery or investment "opportunities." Your name will be placed on "sucker lists" that fraudulent telemarketers buy and sell.
Keep your Social Security, credit card and bank account numbers to yourself. Scam artists often ask for them during an unsolicited sales pitch.
Do not fall for a promise. Telephone solicitations that require an upfront fee for advance-fee loans, unidentified investment opportunities or prize promotions are against U.S. law. Furthermore, legitimate lenders do not guarantee a loan before you apply, especially if you have bad credit or no credit record.
If you do not recognize a telephone area code, check it out in your telephone directory.
The bottom line, the commission says, is to ignore all solicitations for lottery promotions. If you receive lottery material , give it to your local postmaster or contact your state attorney general's office or the FTC.

Don't cash the check. It may be real but obligate you to join something and you will have to pay it back eventually either through a subscription, insurance plan, etc. I get them all the time but just rip them up. READ THE FINE PRINT.

"hot pick"? Do you mean hot picture or something?
If it is a lot of money, then it is most likely fake or an ad.
