Sure you can be my hero okay?
But truthfully no, or maybe there was in some but they turned it into a coward along time ago. How can anyone believe that when people stand around and won't even help a handicapped person cross a busy street. They run away from trouble every chance they get. A doctor wont even help a dying man on the Streets of NYC. because he/she is afraid of being sued. Come on now, there have been witnesses just standing by hearing a woman being raped and killed and did not even call 911 because they were afraid and did not want to get involved. oh sure afterwards some might have given a description of a guy but that is all. Heroes No very few left they are mostly extinct, and today when people want to fight in wars it is voluntary they want to go to kill someone and that is all. Very sad but true. Police officers dont want to save us or protect us they want to give us tickets and collect revenue. They wont catch a bullet for us. This was just proven by a 911 call when a womans x-husband broke in and she phoned the police and they would not respond to the call until she was dead because the neighborhood was too dangerous, so why are they a police person that is their job. But to ask them they will tell you i did not take this job to get shot. Well I got news for them getting shot is expected if you wear a badge and pack a gun. The woman died and it made nationwide news.

Yes we all have the ability for doing the heroic but mostly because of circumstances we mainly live our lives quietly and are happy enough to do so. Some of us do do things that are to others heroic in small ways either in our workplace or the home. You've had to overcome a morbid fear of mice to remove a dead one from a cupboard and to show fearlessness in front of your 4 year old who now thinks you're a fearless avenger wasn't it worth it? and at work standing up to your tyranical boss raises your standing with your workmates small attempts but heroic all the same. During times of danger, war, stress, some can rise above the norm and become real heros, hopefully we won't ask it of them too often.

I beleive there is. Everyone has someone who looks up to them for whatever reason.being a hero does not always mean being on the front of the papers, there are many unsung hero's in this world who choose to remain that way.

Yes, but it's hidden, a lot of factors can uncover it like:
being convinced strongly in something.
having the capabilities to attain the resources.
the will to sacrifice time, money and even ... self.
dedication and patience.
Not to forget some luck or outside factors which help.

Hero in all of us - YES! For some, these 'hero' qualities are very evident and forthcoming and for many of us, they are 'hidden' until such a time/situation calls for it.
