In my bedroom, my bed partially faces a mirror. I have no other options as far as furniture placement goes in the room. A friend told me that I should purchase a small Feng Shui Bagua Mirror to hang over my bed. My questions are...is this the correct course of action? If the mirror is the correct course of action. what is the reason for the mirror?

Please be sure to list your source.

Mh... it would have really helped if you told me the location of your bedroom in the house. Mirrors represent water, so it's not a good idea to have them in the Fame/Reputation area. However, as a general rule, the Relationship area is extremely good for mirrors (round one, mind you), and it's good to have your bedroom here. If this is the case, try not to have it in front of the bed. If you can't change the mirror, then then a crystal ball hanging from the ceiling between the mirror and bed is a good cure. The reason is because it may startle you, and that's not good ever, and because of the angles it may be directing toward your bed.

If you can't have it elsewhere, you can't have it elsewhere. So you find a way to deal with it. The major problem with the mirror would be having it reflect your bed - I don't see a problem with it showing the pole. Is the pole permanently mounted in your room? Could you move it to a corner when you're not using it? If it is moveable, you could put it in one of the corners of the room and maybe put a screen in front of it or some sort of decoration on it. If you're stuck with it where it is, perhaps use the screen to partition off where you sleep, making it a smaller sleeping area in the larger room. This would also solve the laptop problem.

can you email me 3 months after you put the bagua inside your bedroom? i really like to see what happens. this is one reason why my master tells us that paid fengshui is better than unpaid fengshui. because in paid fengshui, people listen and do the appropriate actions because of their investments. i have been advising people not to use bagua anywhere. maybe my master made a mistake... i really like to see what is the outcome.
