I have to admit that i am. it is because you go to an unknown place. many people say when i die , this will happen, or that will happen. so many different things that people "know" will happen, it makes me think that somebody is mistaken. that is one reason we should be tolerant of others beliefs. you can believe what you believe, but also understand, others believe with the same level of faith , and conviction. while i am a little scared, i just try to be the best , kindest, most understanding person that i can. i do good works, try to make my life have an impact on the world in some small way. what ever way you perceive god, i know he is kind and understanding, and i hope he will be when he judges my life.

Death is the day you leave this world and all your friends and relitives behind. For me, i only fear death for the people left behind and the things that i haven't yet accomplished. Death has a great dependancy on your style of living. If you are a millionaire of course you are going to miss life as it is so grand. If you are not in that filthy rich situation, like what im in right now, there is not the fear of WEALTH. Am i scared? to be honest, YES and so are u! even the thoughest guy in the world is gonna be scared in his few minutes of living. Living is something that we are accumstomed to, death is a new chapter in our lives. Death is like the dip in the rollercoaster that you dont see, are you afraid at that moment? i would imagin so.

My answer is yes i am afraid. But once i get over "death" i wont really fear it.

Everyone normal being should be afraid of death!!!

Not so much as to the thought of not being able to see the future. Or maybe I will be able to? The only thing I fear is losing everything I have lived for in one fell swoop. But, dying is a fact of life and no one can live forever.

Although, if I'm still conscious for some reason after death, it will be interesting to see the truths that no living man shall ever know.

I don't feel the need to be scared, because I have lived each passing day like it's my last. I think I accomplish enough in one day where I feel content enough that if I do happen to die, that night, then I will have done all that I can, that day. I tell those I love, that I 'love them', and that I take care of those who need it, including those people I don't even know.
It's good to leave your day on a 'good note', meaning, if you have an argument with someone, or some kind of disagreement with someone you love, it's good to clear the air and resolve it, before you go to bed.

i'm not afraid of death, i just want it to come at the end of a great life. i'd rather life for something then die for nothing. i think jim morrison said it best "People fear death even more than pain. It's strange that they fear death. Life hurts a lot more than death. At the point of death, the pain is over. Yeah, I guess it is a friend."

No....not death itself. Why? Because I made a decision to accept the free gift of salvation offered thru the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ! (Yeah..that would make me a Christian) I have a peace in my heart about what comes after this life. The trip might make me a little nervous...but not the destination!!

Dear,

I am not scared of death because It is a realy truth of life one day it will come in any way. In Hindi saying "Aaya hai so jayega Raja Rank Fakir" who ever it is he has to leave this world one day either he is King, poor or saint. There is no friendship of anybody with death.

I think that depend on your age right now, the older u get, the more u r scared of death. esp seeing good old frens leaving one by one, the scared level for sure will get higher.
