I think casual is the new "dress up" today. If you look at hollywood (with the exception of the glam during award ceramonies) casual is in, even at the most exclusive parties.
But me, I don't live in Hollywood, so I dress regular casual. Black pants and some old t-shirt because I have a three month old who spits up a lot.

I would have to say casual. With the weather it is now, maybe I will say for warmth. I do like to dress up if I have the time.

I only dress up in a special occasion... I, most of the time, in a casual attire, it's more comfortable ;-)
