I think it is, but i'm not entirely sure.

I do know that University of Maryland at College Park is an accredited university and its nationally recognized.

Not really... All of these Universities are regionally accredited which means they are all essentially accredited by the same organization (the Higher Learning Commission) but by different sub divisions in that organization. I think there are 6-8 regions. Some regions require 180 credits for a degree, others 120, while some 160.

A school is accredited in the state in which it resides not the state you currently work/live in.

University of maryland in acredited in maryland. But also programs have acreditation through southern regional council

Yes it is. I went to the European campus in Germany when I was in the Army. It is accredited everywhere.
