I'd say no to all .
First quarterbacks practice their skills over and over and fine tune it. So do pitchers. Each in its own is a full time position with required rest periods. Each is considered the on field leader of the team. Pitchers and quarterbacks also develop different muscles due to the different throwing styles for each.
as for your last part
I doubt that any professional sports team will take the risk of their quarterback or pitcher being injured especially while competing in another sport, most contracts actually prohibit a lot of this nowadays.

There have been a few who have (Bo Jackson, Deon Sanders - not pitchers and QBs though) but I think it would be rare for either club to be OK with it. With the money involved and the risk of injury it is a gamble.

Dave Logan, John Elway, and maybe Jim Brown all played baseball very succesfully, dave logan was an amazing athlete though he was drafted in all three sports (baseball, basketball, and football) and john elway was drafted by the Yankees

Bo Jackson graduated Alabama as a baseball and football star. He signed with NFL and MLB teams, but got hurt in a football playoff game and ended his very promising career early. Deion Sanders played in the Major Leagues and in the NFL successfully. It is pretty rare.

Yes.
A pitcher plays on five days rest.
Logistically it's possible.
Can the body take it?
Ask Bo Jackson.
I believe he played both one season.
But he was a position player in baseball.

way too much studying for both jobs is involved at least to do both at a high level, not to mention arm troubles in no time--good luck finding any organization ok-ing that too, those days of deion and bo are probably over

possible? sure. however, as other people have said - the havoc on the body would not be good. a pitcher and a qb - i don't think the arm could take it. the wear and tear would be significant.

i would say no because the way they throw is different... a pitcher snaps his wrist more than a quaterback while releaseing while a quaterback uses more of an over the top motion
