We need fair tax. I feel that sales tax is the best way. Barring that a simple income tax without deductions. We spend more on tax enforcement each year than education. If you added in the cost of incarceration of tax offenders then you would find we could send millions of Americans to college for free with what we waste on the IRS and tax enforcement.
Each American wastes money and time with taxes. All the while hoping they did it right. Even if they did there is risk of an audit and even if they made their best effort to comply with the law and were completely honest there is a risk they could face huge fines or worse for honest mistakes. So it saps our productivity and leaches money from the economy for parasites like tax lawyers.
Last we pay through the nose at the check out counter. The legions of accountants and tax lawyers needed by companies just to deal with the IRS nightmare costs each of us every time we buy anything.
As for the poor, they'll pay less tax really. The middle class considerably less. The rich more and many companies and people who skate tax free will have to pay their share. Billions will be availible to reduce the defficiet, fund tax cuts or be used for other needs.

I support a Flat Tax system - an equal percentage of what you bring in.
If you support FAIR Tax systems, then Wal-Mart and Ebay will be the only place to shop because everyone will try to buy as much as they can CHEAPLY, knowing that they're going to get bent over at the registers.
And all of a sudden, there is a huge market for underground "non tax" items. People will FLOCK to indian reservations, just like they do now for cigarettes, because tax is exempt on those lands. What will happen to the rest of America's businesses?
However, with a FLAT Tax, you get taxed based on income, and buy whatever you want with what is left over.
A poor person paying 8% tax and a rich person paying 8% is fair and equal.

i won't be able to communicate for all Conservatives. yet I help the common Tax. it is the fairest sort of proposed taxation available. it is thoroughly clean (each and every physique would be attentive to at once if it is going up). it is gross revenues impartial to the government (different than imposing the gadget they might could substitute no longer the rest). It removes thoroughly the earnings tax, not greater IRS. and each physique residing right here will pay it, alongside with the ILLEGALS presently residing and sponging off our gadget at the same time as paying no longer something. And, in spite of what persons are deceptive you to have self belief, isn't basically a countrywide revenues tax; ie a tax advance. The flat tax may be greater effective than what we've in terms of fairness, besides the undeniable fact that it nonetheless removes transparency (the government can strengthen it at any time and you does no longer be attentive to except you have been particularly gazing for it). And the present "modern" tax gadget isn't something of the type. that's inherently unfair and punishes fulfillment. it is totally ordinary to cheat (greater so the better your bracket) and is approximately as clean because of the fact the backside of the sea, donning a mask (and approximately as oppressive). at the same time as the common Tax isn't desirable, no taxation gadget will ever be desirable, it remains the terrific threat available. and that i've got yet to fulfill all of us who particularly evaluated it and did no longer agree.

I think the best tax system is the consumption tax. Everyone pays when they buy. It allows the government to tax illgotten gains when purchases are made. Same for under the counter workers or illegal aliens.

I am for a Consumption tax. Tax people on what they spend not on what they earn. Then everyone should pay taxes.
