Yes. I bought the Total Gym several years ago and it does do what it says, but they do lie about it being easy to set up and put away and it is really expensive. I had a devil of a time and had to have my roommate help me and even with her help it was still hard, but we finally got it set up. Once it was up though I just kept it like that. It was just too much of a problem. Finally gave it away 4 years ago when I moved. Also bought two other exercise items. One of them sucked(Ab Rocker) and the other (Power Rider) I still have and it does work.

Yes, once years ago I bought some fat burner pills. The infomercial showed all these desserts and things you could eat if you took these special fat burning pills. Well, there's a succor born every minute. Of course, they didn't work. Long story short. There was a class action suit against the company and my share of the winnings was $1.50! Lawyers take all!!

Yes, I bought a knife set once but it never lasted! Now I work for that same company & I cant say that any of these products are too good to be true regardless of what the ad says. (Well, except for the Big Green Cleaning Machine!)

My mom has closets full of that kind of crap.
If it would help you lose weight, get rid of wrinkles, chop onions faster... my mom would get it.
I'm sure the stuff worked, but most of it never made it out of the shipping box before it got crammed in the closet.

Yip, much to my dismay. I bought this nail kit, it supposedly saves you from going to a nail salon seeing as you can manage everything at home... I'm a DIY girl so I tried it, it was torture to my nails and I had to go to a nail salon the next day to get my nails fixed.

8 or 9 years ago my father bought the "Banjo Minnow" the last fishing lure you'll ever need... he has yet to catch a fish with that thing and I still tease him about it to this day.
