Oprah doesn't need the money, but she does seem to have a pretty big ego. Is anyone else getting tired of seeing her question pop up first the minute you log into Yahoo Answers? It's okay to help people, but it's not good to constantly publicize your charitable works. If people really want to do good, they don't need $1,000 to do it.

No I would not give it to Oprah. There are more deserving people. Or..... maybe I would and tell her to go to
Home Depot
Buy some lumber
Build a bridge
And get over it!
Otherwise, I would give it to the crack addict who stands at the freeway exit and makes more tax free money than the average citizen. They deserve it more! Why actually work when you can beg!

she's got plenty.
She spends $1000 like I spend 50 cents on a pack of gum.
The only thing that could help her get over herself if if she had to live the average middle-class American life for a year.
She'd probably slit her wrists a month into it though.
