The Democrats were put in power in the Congress partly because of their basic proposals to assist students in by cutting cost of education through lower fees and better loans at lower costs. The Republicans just over looked the rising costs of college on the middle class parents of today.
Hopefully the Democrats can get some relief in place for student over the next two years. They will try.

It affect the life of a student
---Amount of grant money your college university will get
---If you are working for minimum age, depending on which party you choose might raise it
---Some parties are war prone
---One party might improve the economy, the other might create the largest deficit in us history and effect job growth...and hence your chances of getting a job when you graduate...
the list goes on. So it is very important to decide who the right candidate/party to vote for during election

If you are speaking of the recent elections in the USA, the elections make a BIG DIFFERENCE.
Let me give some examples: how money is spent, where it is spent, what are the priorities of the country, whether you get a new school or not, etc. etc. etc.

election does not affect student as neither parties work to reduce tution. Also, there is not holiday on election day and no relief from class as well.

When election takes place you might be hurt if a lot of people dont' vote for you or if you don't win. Also if you do you will have a lot of more work, and people will be constantly bothering you for ideas
