The running title is "The Man Of Steel" with a 2009 release date, Bryan Singer directing and Brandon Routh returning in the title role. Kate Bosworth should be back as Lois Lane and Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor.

Also maybe of interest is the Richard Donner cut of Superman 2. He was the director of 1 and they filmed 2 at the same time, but Donner was fired before he could finish 2. Now he has gone back and put together the footage that he would've used if he'd still been directing on 2. Sounds like it could be a very different movie. (At least this is my understanding of what this cut is about)
