Goji berries is described as small red berries from the mountains of Himalayas dat have been used by the chinese as medicine for diabetes since ancient times...this sounds to me like the wolf berries found in many chinese herbal concoctions and a key ingredient in chinese anti-diabetic tea. Am I right to conclude the Goji berry and Chinese Wolf berry is one and the same?

There are 82 different varieties worldwide. And 42 varieties in Asia alone. The Goji berries that have all the scientific backing is the goji berries with the latin name "lycium barbarum". Lycium Barbarum is the only Goji berries that contain 4 unique bioactive polysaccharides, not found in any other plant on earth, including other Goji berries. These are the only berries used by FreeLife International.
For the scientific studies go to http://www.pubmed.com and type in "lycium barbarum". There are over 75 studies on these berries alone. Also type in "polysaccharides" to view over 320,000 scientific studies.
Also go to http://www.gojibook.com to view Dr. Earl Mindell's book on the Goji berries. He spent over 9 years in Asia studying these remarkable berries.
You can also go to http://www.gojicopycats.com which explains the difference between the berries that FreeLife uses and other berries.

Yes the same.
Grown mainly in the Ningxia province of China.
They are not grown commercially in the Himalayas or Tibet as a number of goji companies suggest.
The Chinese medicine has used them for centuries as well as a myriad of other plants.
They are of interest because of their high anti-oxidant nature.
They dont necessary prolong life as suggested by a number of companies but the people in Niingxia do live long but mainly for other reasons.
