If you were the plaintiff it means, basically dissmissed, because of your failure to appear the court really can not proceed. If you are the defendant you just walked.

It means the court dismissed the case based on your failure to appear but you still have the right to refile if the statute of limitations has not elapsed.

it means that you can challenge the judgement with-in the next 2 years. If you gave more details of the situation, i could better tell you.
But it is basically what i said first. The judgement went against you but you have the option to take it back to court.

It means that you can refile provided you're within the statute of limitations...If it was dismissed with prejudice, it means that you're essentially the decision went against you even though you weren't present and you're stuck with that decision.

dismissed without predujudice means its dismissed for now,but can be brought back up later..( at another hesring) basicly the judge decides a case, then its done, you cant be cgarged twice so once the judgeruled its done.. the judge has left it open in your case...
my opinion? goto the county clerks offfice soon as you can ,put yourself on calender ( means sign up to see the judge) and get it resolved so it cant be brought up on you later.. they can always do sneaky stuff like giveyou a warrnt without telling you..
go get it taken care of..!!!

I looked up prejudice in the dictionary, and it said damage or injury so I guess it means, dismissed without damage to either party.
