Food Stamps, are vouchers issued by the US government to people on government assistance. They come in a coupon book and have dollar amounts on them. You can buy food with them at the grocery store, and pay the food portion of your bill with the food stamps.

I'm not sure if they actually still issue the coupon books. It might be all done with a debit card now.

food stamps are non standard moneys issued to some people who live below the poverty level. There are restrictions to what this non standard form of "cash" can buy: food in paticular. However, you can't buy hot, freshly made food (i.e you can't go into a restaurant and use food stamps to pay for your meal). You can buy canned food, and most all food from any store for that matter...

I get food stamps. I have a Link card with is almost like a credit card, but it has money in it, but you can only buy food with it. You can pretty much buy any foods at a grocery store. You cannot use it at a restaurant or any place that sells already cooked food.

Food Stamps (now known as EBT cards) are a form of government assistance (welfare) for those who are very poor. They can be used to purchase any FOOD item but cannot be used to purchase toilet paper, alcohol, smokes, or any other non-food items.

Personally, it makes no sense to me that you can use your EBT to buy lobster but not tampons!!! If the EBT system were rigged so that you had to buy the least expensive brand of something (store-brand cookies instead of Oreos, say) but could also get other necessity items, it would make a LOT more sense.

Food stamps are a form of welfare. Poor people and dishonest people get food stamps. These groups are usually mutually exclusive, though not always. You can be poor but not poor enough for food stamps, which is where the dishonest part comes in handy.

So once you figure out whether you are poor, dishonest, or whatever, you start with FOOD from a supermarket for your food stamps. If you are hungry, stop now - otherwise, once you get the food, sell it for cash. Give your customers a good deal, or they won't come back. With the cash, you can get anything.

I'd go with the Devo hat.

Food stamps are a form of government assistance for the poor. They are vouchers that can only be redeemed for food/grocery items, from what I understand.
