Appreciate the little things about each other. Be honest with each other and never stop using your best manners with each other. Never speak harshly to each other; speak to each other as if you are each other's most treasured friend and you will be. Surprise each other with little presents that don't necessarily cost much...it's the thought that counts. Spend time together doing things that you both enjoy. If you don't spend time together you will grow apart. It sounds simple and basic but I really believe that is the key to a good relationship/marriage.

My husband and I we say and do things to encourage each other, we never call each other names, we never turn each other down, unless it is really a health issue, for sex, once in a while, we kiss each other hands, we always have a nice word or compliment to say about each other, and above all we are considerate of one another.

Remember to go all the way to show you care by getting flowers, cooking for one another, sharing hugs and kisses, spending quality time out with one another...
