A LESSON IN MATRIMONY
Which should I choose?
\the 9 iron, or the 5 wood?
Purpose follows my every movement
As i thoughtfully pick up the 9 iron.
Lining up my shot, I take a few practice swings,
Under the ever watchful dull glow of the basement light bulb.
"I see the fear in your eyes" I casually remark.
The club hits home.
A meaty crack, followed by a muffled scream,
Oozes thgrough the cloth in her mouth.
"Now now, we don't want to disturb the neighbors."
I gently rebuke.
I look in her fearful blue eyes.
"Did you really think I wouldn't find out about you two?"
Again and again I swing,
Again and again she screams, each one successively weaker.
She ceases to struggle long before I finish.
Wearily, I lean in and whisper in her ear,
"Remember dearest. Till death do us part."

Good poem. Kinda' dark, and disturbing. I thought it was about golf, then I looked over it and said, "What the Hell?!". Great poem, by the way, although I like ones that rhyme.

tht was good work buddy, but i guess wht you have written is no poem...its more like a song...hey, look at the bright side...with the right tune and music...tht will be a cool sound...kindda of question and answer song....
on the whole...good work...keep it up mate, tht will increase your knowlege and skills in writing...
