i have an essay due tomorrow and the prompt is to discuss the five stages of death and dying proposed by psychologist kubler-ross and talk about how it relates to our personal lives.

If this is a personal experience paper based on real life happenings it is fantaboulous minus some grammar.
If not then going into detail of your experience and releasing the victims name could be dangerous if for some reason your paper would get posted nationally you could get into some trouble with releasing there name without prior permission... this has happened to me before when i wrote my thesis.

Do not attach your personal opinions to well established facts. The personal information in your paper served no purpose. There is indeed regret for your loss, however, this would not enhance your grade.
