i'm writing a paper for school, anyone have any ideas on which tv show portrays life the most?

Roseanne....The most realistic show I have ever seen. Not the whole Roseanne being a mother, but the relationship between the father & daughters, the embarassing mother, the runt of a brother, the single, needy sister, the situations that go on, the poor lifestyle, and basically a lot of little things that happens. I love that show because it really was one of the most realistic portrayals of an average dysfunctional American family.

I'd have to say Seinfeld. Even tho I wasn't an avid fan of the show, it is most like real-life because each episode was always about life....normal and abnormal arguments, theories, conversation and events lived out how anyone (or many people we know) would react to the given situation.

I agree with Roseanne...but only like the first 3 seasons or so. IT just got weird after that.
