o.k here is the deal I am about to meet some friends of my friends but their into things that I don't do I want to go to this party but their gonna be doing the stuff that I don't do should I go and not do or should I not go. all of these people know what I look like and think I look like a cool person what should I do

No offense, but you are pretty insecure. don't take that the wrong way. You should go and just be yourself and if they don't think you are cool enough then why even care? If someone does not like you just cause you do not drink and etc. then they are not worthy of your friendship anyway. If anything I think your cool for not doing the same thing everyone else does and if they can't accept and respect that then who the **** cares. I would say do not go if you are one of those people that gives into peer pressure easily and are easily corrupted. if not then go , meet new people and have a good time, just be safe and make sure you have a DD

Can't you go to the party and NOT do the things they do that you don't do? If so, and you want to go then you should go. But if you think you'll go along with the crowd because you want to "look cool" then you'd be better off if you pass this party up. And maybe even a few more until you know that you can control you need to fit in.

well mz i don't think you should go! if you know thatthey will be doing things that you don't do there is no reason to go! if you have to do some of the dumb things just to make you look cool for these people to like you then you don't need them type of people as friends! beleive me 10 years down the line you will be a popular success while the ones at those parties turn out to be druggies! stay sweet!

Don't do anything you aren't comfortable with. You don't have to go with the crowd! The coolest thing of all is to be an individual and follow your own beliefs.
Don't preach your views to others though, that's seriously uncool!
You can go, but if you're feeling uncomfortable, just leave. No need for drama, just say "It's getting late, gotta be up early tomorrow, see you later".

Honey....being cool don't mean you have to party....I found that out years ago....became a drug addict because I thought I had to fit the crowd and be cool.....that was years ago though and I have been clean for a long time now....with God's help....no rehab....it was hard, but he got me through it.....stick with God...and if you do hang with people that do things you don't ...just don't be a part of it....tell them no if they offer you something or suggest you do something....God, honey is someone who will always be by your side...and he is the COOLEST thing I know....lol....Bless you honey!

Well, I personally wouldn't go. If tbey are doing illegal activities, and the party gets busted, you're going to jail right along with them. But, it's just a matter if you would be comfortable being around it or not. If you wouldn't be, then I wouldn't go.

hey you can go to the party to have a good time.....but you don't have to participate in anything you don't want to or feel uncomfortable....i'm sure there will be other people there who feel the same way. if it gets out of hand you can call it a night and go home.
