The most expensive Bollywood film is TAJ MAHAL by Akbar Khan,starring all big stars of Bollywood.
The movie was released in 2006 First Half and was an Utter Flop.
Its budget was nearly Rupees 100 Crores!

Un till today the most expensive movie was Mughle-Azam. At that time it was made from 22 lacs. Which is today's more than 100 cores. It took 12 years to complete that movie. But bad luck of that movie was Madhubala has not seen that her own movie.

But Mahabaratha it at the begining stage of script which sources say would cost a record mark of 100crores.
