I'm 26 weeks pregnant, and the same thing has been happening to me.
I was so happy before, but this last week I have been moody, tired, and snappy..
So it's probably normal. If you find yourself about to snap, take a deep breath, count to 10 and think about what you say and what effect it my have on the people around you.
Don't stress, you're just pregnant :P

It could be lack of sleep or vitamins. I would say, get your recommended sleep, take naps if you can, make sure you are eating healthy, and take your vitamins. Remember, you are burning more calories than a regular person climbing a mountain. Imagine how cranky you'd be climbing the mountain without proper sleep and nutrition.
If you do that and still are cranky, it's the hormones. Don't worry though. I was the crankiest and most hormonal person ever when I was pregnant and my son is the calmest most happy go lucky little boy I could ever hope for. It won't "rub off" on the baby. :)
Good luck with the baby.

Oh, it's hormones. I'm at 40 weeks (technically due tomorow, but this kid just won't come!!) and know all about that. I didn't get as moody as I did in the first few months, but I did have my down days, or times where I'd just get grouchy. I still do...especially now that I'm more than ready to have my baby.
It will pass, but do try to remember to be kind to those around you. They don't always understand. If I was in a bad mood, I tried to make a point of warning/explaining to my husband. It made him feel better and more involved in what was going on.

Mood swings are definitely part of pregnancy, but if you keep feeling this way you should let your doctor know, just so they can keep an eye on you for post-partum depression. Most women get cranky and down in the dumps during pregnancy, your body is going through A LOT right now, so stuff like that can be expected...but if you are worried about it, ask your dr! Good luck, hang in there and congrats on your baby on the way!

You will go through alot of emotions, and they will come and go, just make sure you are eating enough, and on time, taking your prenatals, and exercise (like walking...this really helps). In the beginning alot of woman are sick, and then you feel better, after the first 3 months, and then as you go along, and get bigger, you get tired, and slower. All I can let you is sleep, sleep like there is no tomorrow, once that baby is here, you will never sleep again, and the first year...you will not sleep at all.

I'm 39 weeks pregnant, yay it's almost over, and I definatley have my days. Sometimes I wake up and I'm just cranky for no reason, sometimes I just start to cry for absolutely no reason. I guess it's just the hormones. You're not alone, pregnant women have crazy emotions but you'll be just fine!

It's just hormones... I'm pregnant as well and I'm cranky all the time...It doesn't take much to set me off...
It's all part of doing the mommy thing... just talk to someone that's close to you if you're feeling really down... It might make you feel better... I know that helps me..
...Just remember that after you have the baby, if you get PPD (post pardom depression), don't keep it all to yourself.TALK TO SOMEONE! If you don't it could make things worse.
Hope you get to feeling happier! :D
