It's located between the males scrotum and rectum. Unfortunately for men the BEST way to check it is for the doctor to insert a finger in the male anus. In a normal healthy YOUNG male it is about the size of a walnut and feels like a gel pack. As the male gets older the prostate grows larger and should be checked regularly as it is prone to cancer. Wrong spot, luv. The prostate is more toward the front. It is a gland surrounding the urethra (the tube for the urine). Not sure what it feels like--I don't have one. :-}
