That sucks man. Can you take your shower the night before? You may not have to style your hair if you use rollers. Also I braid my hair to get it to lie flat but give it a little wave.
Also can you (ha) put your clothes out the night before, get the coffee ready the night before and streamline your routines?
Example: I have minimum makeup that I wear when I have NO time. I also have minimum hair routines that I wear when I have NO time. I also have an idea of what I am going to wear the night before.
Also, being somewhat organized with laundry and creating nice open spaces on your countertops can help you save time and be ready quicker.
I would be so pissed to spend 3 hrs in the morning just to be able to leave the house.

I have to be at work by 8am,
I get out of bed at 7:40,
Spend five minutes getting ready,
And I have a 15 minute drive to work.
I get there by 8:00, why can't you?

Either you are slow getting things going, or you do to much to be "ready" by 8am! Try taking it simple and maybe it won't take so long! Wait....do you have kids?? That would be another explanation. Kids tend to slow you up a little! :)

do you have young children to get ready for school? i get up at 5:15 to get my kids ready for school but with some organizing, i can get my eldest to school by 6:45. there might be somethings u can get ready and put into your car the night before - like the school bags and ready their water bottles, etc. see if this helps a little.

I get up at 6:00- get my daughter off to band at 7:00
and then, get my son up for school;;;;;
clean the house inbetween
then at 8:25 I get to get in the shower, I am out and ready to go by 8:35, get coffee, then I leave for work........
come home and go on yahoo for another 12 hours,,
just kidding,,,,,,,,,,

maybe your vain and have to have every god d*mn piece of hair straight and perfect make-up or it could just be that your not easy to get up and going in the morning. it takes me thirty minutes to get ready. shower, clothes, brush hair, eyeliner and i'm gone

like wat i do... i wake up @ 6:30 but i get up fr bed @ 7..
shower fr 7 - 7:30
routine - 40 mins
done by 8:10 & ready 2 leave 4 work
