The only possitive way is to ask them. Other than that you can not tell. I have met some straight guys that I could have sworn were gay. I worked with one. On the other hand there are some gay guys I thought were gay. The way they talk, walk, or anything is not telling you they are gay.
I did judge people like this. Until I met these people.

If they're walking down the street flirting with another guy, they're probably gay. Particularly if they have a hand in the other guy's pocket.
Other than that, not really. The stereotypical effeminate gay is just that - a stereotype. Most gays don't act that way.

Don't you know that now days gay tattooed "I AM A GAY!" at their butt.I think you should stripe them down just to make sure.
Why you want to know whether they are gay or not?If it bother you,stay home,don't ever get out.That way,you no need to know

the butch ones are hard, but i doubt if it's hard to find the other kind....
one question i have tried is to tell them they have stepped on something.
if he's straight, he'll look straight down and lift his foot...
if he's gay, he should look over his shoulder the try and see their foot (maybe also go "oh my god, my jimmy choos!!" lol)

They are either really hot and dress too well, have their eyebrows waxed, etc. or they walk like a spazzed out female. Occasionally, you can't tell because they act like normal men....

there are no signs unless the person actually tells you when you're talking to one its obvious that their voice isnt as deep and they move their hands and head round a lot too when they talk

yes, neatly dressed and groomed. Nothing out of place. Most not all would be acting a little effiminate, but to various degree. Their voice tend to be higher pitched then men and they have a sing-song rhythm when they speak.
